We create our life in two ways; one is out of design, and the other is out of default. If we don’t design our life, then our mind will go to the default patterns of previous thinking.
We must consciously choose our direction so we know how to set our sails. So, choose, plan, focus and follow through.
I’ve had recent conversations about whether there is a “moral imperative”…or is everything just perfect as it is. Then, today, I received this quote. Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who died standing up to Adolf Hitler said: “The ultimate test of a moral society is the kind of world that it leaves to its children.†I believe “inner leadership” means leaving our corner of the world better for our having been here.
PURPOSE eliminates the concept of being “sick and tired” of doing something. That smacks of a passion gone sour. Pick a worthy mission, join it and let it give you energy and power. Rededicate yourself to it often, and measure success by milestones – not bank acct balances or titles(from Tim Sanders)

May 26th, 8 AM- 4PM
The BusinessOwnerSpace network will host an event for small businesses, entrepreneurs, and job seekers in celebration of Small Business Week.
At: San Jose City Hall Rotunda, 200 Santa Clara Street.
The event will begin with a continental breakfast, opening remarks by James MacGregor, SVSJ Business Journal, and resource fair. The event continues with an afternoon job fair from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. This job fair will be open to the public, with participants encouraged to review job titles and resume instructions before attending the fair.

Fifty years ago Earl Nightingale recorded a wonderful vinyl record called The Greatest Secret. Millions and millions and millions of people have listened to that. It was actually one of the precursors to the movie, The Secret, which is worldwide today.
Earl said this: right where you stand, on the ground you are, in the place that you are, you are standing on acres of diamonds; acres of diamonds that are just below the surface of where you are standing. They are below the surface of the way you think about things.
They are below the surface of perceptions that we may hold or paradigms that we may live from. But just below the surface are ideas that will generate opportunities, financial support, relationships, a life that you have been longing to live.
